Sweet, tart Apricots are stoned and cooked with rich Muscovado sugar to create this lush caramelised jam. The texture is smooth and thick, as the apricots have been thoroughly cooked down.
What does it go well with? Everything – or nothing – some folks have exclaimed: “all you need is a spoon."
Lillie O’Brien established London Borough of Jam in 2011, following five years as Pastry Chef at the esteemed St John Bread & Wine. LBJ preserves are made in small batches and cooked for a shorter time compared to generic brands. The flavour is honest and unadulterated.
Ingredients: Apricots, unrefined cane sugar, muscovado sugar & lemon juice.
