Albert de Conti VDF Pet Nat ORGANIC

Deliciously ripe, fruity and fresh pet-nat made of 80% Sauvignon Blanc and 20% Sémillon. A bottle to crack open on those those sunny afternoons (or rainy afternoons for that matter - why not?), filled with zesty citrus, green apples and ripe pears

Ancestral method sparkling  AKA Pet Nat, with primary ferment in tank before juice is transferred to bottle without any filtration to complete fermentation. Not disgorged so you may find sediment in the bottle and it may appear slightly hazy. Do not be alarmed!

Notes on the producer

Château Tour des Gendres is produced at ‘Les Gendres’ situated at Ribagnac, which has been owned by the de Conti family since 1981. Built over a ‘Gallo-Roman’ site the soil here is very calcareous. Winemaker Luc de Conti runs his 50 hectare organic vineyard on biodynamic lines, growing his grapes as near as possible to the ground and using no fertilisers.
