Miss Kim’s Lotus Root Bugak is a traditional Korean crispy snack made by deep-frying lotus root slices that have been coated with sticky rice paste and dried. It’s light, crunchy, and high in fibre— perfect as a banchan (Korean side dish), snack, or garnish.

Sea Salt Nurungji

Born from Korea’s most comforting food tradition, Nurungji is the thin, golden layer of rice that crisps at the bottom of the pot. What some might call a mishap, Koreans have cherished for centuries for its delicate crunch and naturally nutty, toasted flavour.
We season ours with deep, mineral-rich sea salt harvested from the pristine Sinan Coast in South Korea enhancing the pure, roasted rice taste with a clean, savoury finish.
