This is a ripe and juicy expression of the Saperavi: a grape hailing from Georgia, well-known for producing punchy red wines. This reputation hasn't been lost in the grape's journey across the Black Sea to the hills of southern Moldova. The result is a refreshing, low intervention wine, bursting with red fruit flavours, and proof that outstanding quality, good value wines still exist.
Serve chilled on its own, or with a bowl of olives or ratatouille.
